Mark your calendars and plan to join us for the SMCHS Alumni Basketball Tournament in honor of Coach Brent DeKok. The tournament is open to any former SMCHS players, coaches and staff (we are going to limit the teams to only SMCHS alumni). There is no restriction on what level of basketball you played at St. Mary’s, so anyone who played, coached, or was staff for freshman basketball to varsity is welcome to participate.

Teams will be formed around graduation years and number of RSVPs. The one-day tournament will take place on Monday, December 27, 2021, at the NEW SMCHS (5802 Ridgeland Drive). There will be a free will donation for tournament participation and spectators (for online donations, please use the form below). Proceeds will go to the Brent DeKok Scholarship Fund to help cover the cost of tuition for Light of Christ students and families in need.

Tentative schedule:

• 4:15pm: Doors open for warm-up
• 5:15pm: 1st Game (two, 10-minute halves)
• 5:45pm: 2nd Game (two, 10-minute halves)
• 6:15pm: 3rd Game (two, 10-minute halves)
• 6:50pm: Championship (two, 12-minute halves)
• 7:30pm: Fellowship in Cafeteria

The bracket structure will vary depending on number of teams/players. There will be a two game guarantee.
